Following participation in the recent National Risk Assessment Webinar, Conahy Shamrocks GAA and Camogie Club has completed a comprehensive review of its Risk Assessment. This process has informed the revision of our Child Safeguarding Statement, ensuring it reflects our ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of all young members. The updated Risk Assessment was formally submitted at the latest executive meeting, and the revised Child Safeguarding Statement is now available. It can be accessed in the clubhouse, on the club website, via ClubZap, and across our social media platforms.
We also remind all club members that Helen O'Connor is the club’s Children's Officer, Paul Byrne is the Designated Liaison Person (DLP), and Leasa Byrne is the Deputy Designated Liaison Person (DDLP). These individuals are the relevant safeguarding contacts within the club and are available to support and advise on any child welfare concerns.
