HURLING
The junior hurlers play Emeralds in their final group game of the JJ Kavanagh Junior League in Canon Kearns Park next Sunday afternoon at 1.00 p.m. Best of luck to all involved.

The minor hurlers played host to Piltown in their most recent in the Kilkenny Vehicle Centre Roinn B League/Championship on Tuesday night last in Jenkinstown. The visitors were the better side in the opening half, and Conahy were fortunate to be only three points behind, 0-15 to 2-6, with the Conahy goals coming from Darragh Horgan and a Billy Rowe penalty. However, Conahy played much better in the second half, scoring some excellent points to eventually win out by 2-19 to 0-23. They are back in action this Friday night when they travel away to play Lisdowney at 7.00 p.m.

The under-16 hurlers will also play host to Tullaroan on Wednesday night in their latest game in the Duggan Steel Roinn C League/Championship at 7.00 p.m. in Jenkinstown.

The under-14 hurlers played James Stephens in their most recent game in the Duggan Steel Roinn D League/Championship in Páirc Sheamuis Stiopháin on Tuesday night last. The very Conahy team gave their best against an older and stronger James Stephens team, but lost out by 5-9 to 3-2. Well done to all the young players especially on a great effort in awful weather conditions.

CAMOGIE
The intermediate camogie girls play host to Barrow Rangers on Sunday morning at 11.00 a.m. in their third round game in the Abbott Intermediate League Championship in Jenkinstown. Best of luck to all involved.

Both the minor and under-14 camogie girls were in action on Tuesday night last in their respective leagues. The minor girls lost out to a strong Clara side by 7-14 to 2-6, while the under-14 girls narrowly lost out to Slieverue by two points, 2-1 to 1-2. Despite this, the under-14 girls have still qualified for the championship quarter-finals, where they will play host to Piltown in Jenkinstown on Saturday week, September 12th.
