Our adult hurling and camogie players are joining forces to raise money for the club, and are looking for support from club members, family and friends.
They are running a 2026 FIFA World Cup Prediction Competition, in advance of it starting next month. The competition rules are as follows:
1. €10 PER ENTRY TO BE PAID TO ANY ADULT HURLING OR CAMOGIE PLAYER.
2. GUESS THE OUTCOME FROM EACH OF THE 72 GROUP GAMES IN THE 2026 FIFA WORLD CUP.
3. EACH WINNER CORRECTLY PREDICTED GETS 2 POINTS, EACH DRAW CORRECTLY PREDICTED GET 3 POINTS.
4. IN THE EVENT OF A TIE, THE TIEBREAKER QUESTION (SEE ABOVE) WILL BE TAKEN INTO ACCOUNT AND THE PERSON CLOSEST TO THE TOTAL NUMBER OF GOALS SCORED IN ALL 72 GROUP GAMES WILL WIN THE JACKPOT PRIZE.
Each player (hurling and camogie) has prediction sheets that can be filled in. Alternatively, entries can be taken via the following Google Form - https://forms.gle/4KXPfFK2ae14wFcv7 . Entries will be taken up to Sunday, May 31st.
